We offer temporary accommodation at our refuge for single women or women with children escaping domestic abuse.
If you decide to come to the refuge if possible you should bring any forms of identification for you and your children, any small personal belongings and seminal items including photographs and any medication you or your children may need.
Upon arrival you will be allocated a support worker who will meet with you regularly.
Whilst living in our refuge you would be offered the opportunity to put together a support plan outlining your immediate needs and long-term goals. Our staff are here to assist you with any worries including financial, children issues/education, future housing advice or signposting to legal advice.
We also offer group work and activities within the refuge to assist in your recovery.
Our specialist children’s worker is also on hand to work with child, or with mum and child together, to provide support, social activities and therapeutic group work.
For those with a disability, access to ground floor living is available at the refuge.
