Our team come from a range of backgrounds and experiences and provide support and advice to anyone experiencing domestic abuse.  Our team consists of

Chief Officer - SALLY STARKEY

who oversees the organisation and delivers training and awareness

Sally was appointed to the role in May 2016 having had 30 years of experience working with victims of domestic abuse and managing services across the North-West.  Alongside her role as Chief Officer, Sally works with partners and stakeholders to develop and deliver domestic abuse services and co-delivers domestic abuse awareness training.  Sally is available to visit your organisation to provide details of the services provided by Warrington Women’s  Aid, to deliver a talk/presentation or to simply start a conversation about the topic of domestic abuse within your community or group.


Family Workers

that provide frontline support to the residents of the refuge and advice to people outside the organisations


Children's Worker

that supports family units inside the refuge and supports the children through their journey


Complex Case Worker

that deals with people that have additional challenges in their lives such as substance addiction.


Office Support Worker

that provides administrative support and is often the first point of contact when someone gets in touch

We are managed by a Board of Trustees.  Our board is a group of local volunteers who are passionate about supporting Warrington Women's Aid to help achieve its aims of protecting victims of domestic abuse.  They are responsible for the direction of the organisation and what services it provides.
