Our refuge
Warrington Women’s Aid provides safe, temporary accommodation for women and their children who are escaping domestic abuse. Our refuge offers a secure and supportive environment where you and your children can begin to feel safe.
We have a range of rooms, including some en-suite spaces, shared kitchens and communal areas, a large outdoor space, and a playroom for children. Experienced and specialist staff are available to offer one-to-one support tailored to your individual needs.

Staying in refuge is a temporary step. While you are with us, we can support you to explore your options, including finding longer-term accommodation, accessing counselling, and rebuilding your life at your own pace.
We understand that leaving an abusive situation can feel overwhelming. Whatever you decide, your safety is always our priority. Our staff are here to listen, support, and help you make the choices that feel right for you, without judgement and without pressure.
