Training
At Warrington Women’s Aid, we believe that strengthening understanding across our community is key to preventing harm and improving outcomes for survivors. Our CEO delivers specialist domestic abuse training alongside the Warrington Domestic Abuse Hub, the council’s safeguarding service, ensuring that partner organisations and key professionals receive high-quality, evidence-informed learning that builds confidence, awareness and safe practice.
We provide training on recognising the signs of abuse, responding safely and effectively, understanding risk, supporting disclosures, and creating environments where victims feel heard and protected. These sessions are delivered with compassion, clarity and deep sector expertise, helping professionals across health, education, housing, community services and voluntary organisations to better support those affected by domestic abuse. Should you wish to attend please book using this link: https://www.warringtonsafeguarding.org/
We also offer bespoke training packages for corporate organisations, tailored to the needs of your workforce and workplace environment. Whether you want to strengthen your safeguarding approach, support staff who may be experiencing abuse, or train managers on how to handle sensitive conversations, we can design a programme that meets your goals. Corporate training is a charged service, and we welcome organisations to contact us directly to discuss their needs and explore how we can support you.
If your team could benefit from specialist training, please get in touch — together, we can help create safer, more informed and more supportive workplaces and communities.
